October 2015 - Per Erik Bergh (Managing Director), Sandy Davies (Technical Director), Mark Ssemakula (Project Officer), Sally Frankcom (Communications Officer), Kosakosa Mukosa (Research Assistant) and Mirabel Bausinger (Consultant) were in Cape Town as part of the Stop Illegal Fishing team organising the International Symposium on FishCRIME. Hosted by the South African Department for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries the Symposium bought together nearly 200 participants from 31 countries to look at the growing evidence of transnational organised crime in the fisheries sector.
