Antonia Fleetwood-Bird


Sustainability Manager

Antonia’s key area of expertise is in developing and implementing international strategies and policies on natural resources and environmental governance.

An experienced sustainability manager, Antonia is interested in sustainable resource management, corporate responsibility, as well as social entrepreneurship. Antonia brings understanding from the corporate sector, with experience working for both Findus Sverige AB and IKEA on sustainability policies and goals and supply chain risk assessment.

Antonia’s professional roots lie in international development, with experience working at the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency and the Food and Agriculture Organization. Since joining NFDS in 2010, Antonia has led on sustainability issues as well as contributing to analysis, policy development and advice relating to illegal fishing, fisheries management and climate change.

Citizenship: Swedish

Qualifications: MSc Environmental Science (2008), University of Lund, Sweden. Including studies at London School of Economics and Political Science as well as University of Cape Town.

Other training: Further studies in Macroeconomics (University of Oxford), Corporate Social Responsibility (Luleå University of Technology), Strategic Communication (University of Lund), Leadership and communication (University of Lund).
