November 2018 — Sandy Davies (Technical Director) conducted a one-day Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) workshop in Dar es Salaam for the Deep Sea Fishing Authority.
The purpose of the workshop was to present stakeholders from a range of ministries and departments, the private sector and civil society with details of the draft SEA reports for the proposed fisheries policy and legal framework for the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) fisheries. The workshop enabled stakeholders to provide comment and input on the draft reports.
