Bella is passionate about the sustainable use of natural resources and environmental responsibility across Africa.
Her studies at university gravitated around marine and freshwater biology, where she gained an understanding of the impacts of human activity and global environmental change. Both for her degree and on an extracurricular basis, she undertook a number of research projects on fish populations and biodiversity, primarily in the Red Sea.
She is interested in the interaction between ecosystem health and human welfare and is excited about expanding her knowledge on how to promote the former in the context of the marine environment and public policy.
