Shannon is a legal expert with a passion for ocean management and sustainable development.
Shannon’s areas of expertise and interests are in: legislative drafting and analysis; combatting IUU fishing (including Monitoring, Control, Surveillance and Enforcement, MCSE); legal analysis of Regional fishery management organizations (RFMOs) as well as UN instruments and processes; and fisheries and food security. Shannon was previously based in Botswana but now works on a range of projects from her homeland of the USA.
