NFDS prepares state of the environment reports, analyses transboundary, multi-sector issues and challenges and prepares strategic action plans for ocean and river basin ecosystems.
NFDS supports climate change adaptation in fisheries through vulnerability assessments, identification of adaptation actions as well as support in implementing these.
To support capacity building, NFDS provides capacity needs assessments, capacity building plans, development, execution and management of training courses, and the design and evaluation of higher education courses.
