Maya’s main interest is exploring global policies and the implications these have – positive and negative – for Africa to achieve SDG 14 and sustainable fisheries.
Maya’s interest in international affairs developed through her experiences in the UN Youth Programme have provided a good start point for researching material and gathering evidence for policy formulation and review.
