March 2019 — Sally Frankcom (Communications Officer) attended the Liberian National Working Group of the West Africa Task Force that took place in Monrovia on 25-26 March 2019.
The cooperation of national agencies is necessary to ensure an end to illegal fishing. Seven agencies were represented at the meeting: Liberia National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority (NaFAA), Liberia Coast Guard (LCG), Liberia Immigration Service (LIS), Liberia Maritime Authority (LiMA), Liberia Port Authority, Liberia Ministry of Justice, and the Liberia National Police.
